Harvey M. Showalter Future Alumni Award Nomination Form

  • Purpose: To recognize one graduating UIndy student who embodies the spirit of the late Harvey M. Showalter '41. Throughout his life, Harvey M. Showalter lived the University's motto "Education for Service" in serving UIndy both as a student and an alumnus, as well as serving the community in many forms of volunteer leadership.
  • Criteria: UIndy students nominated for this award should be in good academic standing and eligible to participate in the upcoming commencement. Further qualifications include status as an undergraduate or a graduate student; a GPA of 3.0 or higher; leadership in at least two or more co-curricular activities; and actions that embody the Harvey M. Showalter's legacy of service to his alma mater as an active volunteer and leader.

    Students may be nominated by University faculty, staff members, alumni, or fellow students.
